Semiramis’ sole album, Dedicato A Frazz, was released by Trident Records in 1973. It was commercially unsuccessful but is regarded as a classic of Italian progressive rock music. Combining elements of Italian folk, circus, hard rock, Baroque church music, jazz, classical, and a good dose of insanity; Dedicato A Frazz is an extravagant masterpiece. It’s a concept album about the dreams and feelings of an imaginary and strange character called Frazz, which is an acronym made with the initials of the members of the band. The album features memorable cover artwork by Gordon Faggetter. Semiramis produced one of the most imaginative, intricate, and intense albums ever with Dedicato A Frazz.
